I seem to have lost the motivation. The main trouble is that I've run out of cars that inspire me to start carving. The two meetings that I used to race at are now allowing silicone tyres and I refuse to race on any track that uses them - they ruin the surface for anything else. This means that I don't even have that reason to make any new cars.

The house is almost done. In a couple of weeks, I'll be getting the materials for the main bathroom (which has no floor right now - fortunately, we have an en-suite in our bedroom ) That's the last major job. A few bits of final fix to do but the house has been so comfortable this winter that, once again, I have lacked the motivation to get on with it. Might be the fact that my 78th birthday is coming up or maybe I'm just getting lazy.

Thats a shame re your local track Gordon, people love spoiling a good thing.
You'll just have to take on commissions so we can all still watch your wonderful builds.
