My brain is too simple to try and do more than one thing at a time. I have to concentrate on the car, no fiddling with knobs for me......... .

Don't like adjustable brakes etc. Just max brakes and a throttle control - resistor of course. Adjust the driving not the controller, the car should be as fast as is possible controlled by physics.
