1966 Olds 442 W30
#1

This year of Olds 442 was an odd duck. I may be wrong, but I can't think of anyone turning one of these into a slot car. If you got one, please show us.

These are the parts I bought for $5. Barely enough for a slot car. I have since located the tail lights at a flea market.

I found a pic of a completed kit on Google that inspired me to paint it Tamiya Cobalt Green.

The body was painted, and a custom chassis was machined.

The car fell on it's roof seconds after being painted. Luckily a vinyl roof was in the works anyways.

This is the part where I hold my breath. Mating the chassis to the body.

The car runs. It needs bumpers, chrome trim, windows, and interior.

More to follow. Thank you very kindly for looking.
