This is a model I made up from a resin body by John Warren - I think the originator was a chap named Charles Lawrence from the US.

This did originate with Charles Lawrence in Seattle. He then had Martin Field work up a master and then it went on to an English (well known) caster who declared it uncastable due to the details not turning out very well. The master sat around for twelve months or more before arriving on my bench. 
I still have the moulds and seem to remember doing a couple of very successful (all details turning out well) production runs of ten or so kits.

A pity the real car wasnt more successful.
