There's no doubt the Pendles team are on a roll with their resin slot car kits. They are also developing new 3D printed chassis alongside TA71 - and this beefy Mini Turbo kit combines the two...
The Mini Turbo was seen as the spiritual successor to the Cooper and the 1275 GT - and was the fastest version of the original Mini to be sold through official dealers...
Essentially, a standard 1989 Mini City was modified by Engineering Research & Application Ltd with a chunky body kit, updated interior, plus a raft of mechanical modifications and a turbocharged 1.3-litre MG Metro engine shovelled into the engine bay, producing 94bhp and a top speed of 115 mph.
Only 436 were produced - with the majority of cars exported to Japan. Pendles have modelled their kit to use the Japanese style front number plate holder - or leave it off to model a UK version.
Hmm... that's a lot more tasty than the normal PSC32 chassis! At the moment, these are the two options....
