Magnets? Magless racing on these tracks - and at home, when I can!

I did try a couple of Pendle 20k motors as a cheap option but they couldn't compete - unless they sent 16k's by mistake? Doubt that though - and it was pre-pandemic so they had plenty of PSR's in stock back then.

They were better than the Scalextric motors they replaced but seemed to lack a bit of 'oomph' on those big straights. Maybe I need to change the gearing sometime?

There will be some magnetic effect from the motors on Scalextric track which will help braking to a degree.
The SRP motors are different to the Pendle branded ones ;)
