To test the resistance of the throttle, use an AVO meter set to "resistance" or "ohms"
Put meter leads on the two of the controller's leads.
(For club bscra "bs546" plugs this is the two lower pins typically the white and black leads, not the red centre pin)
The meter should show an infinite resistance (open circuit) "OL" on digital meters
Squeeze the trigger slightly until you get a reading)
The meter should then display the resistance of the unit.
As you squeeze the trigger fully, the meter sweeps from its max resistance to zero ohms (for full throttle)
