The controller on the right looks a bit like a Professor Motor version. I've also seen an upgraded version with a throttle and brake potentiometer.
Controllers can be offered in all sorts of different Ohm values. Depends on intended track voltage, etc.
Did you buy them used? Do they show brand name anywhere?
