I once built a green Lotus 30 where I made several big mistakes. So another body was purchased to see if things could be improved the second time around.
Here's a quick reminder of what went wrong on the first Lotus. A big hole was cut into the interior to try and install an inline S-can motor. I had to switch to a slim-line motor to save that car as an inline drive.
The first step to making the correction was to install an NSR side-winder pod. There's a little more room in the engine bay. It was a bit more challenging than making an inline. But well worth the extra effort in the end.
This time the car has a full interior including a fire extinguisher, and a full driver right down to his shoes. It came with a tonneau cover for the passenger side. It was thankfully not needed for this build.
