Carerra Collectors Guide?
#1

It seams like most of the H.O brands of slot cars have there own seperate collecors guides (some even have multiple editions)

Does anyone know of a collector guide for Carerra slot cars?

Regards, Chet

I know if you're German and live in Germany you can join an exclusive Carrera Club that offers special cars. I don't think there's a Collectors Guide per say...

There was a book published for Carrera's 50th anniversary in 2013 called "Carrera: 50 Years on Track" by Andreas Berse. It's no collectors' guide, but is a nice history of the brand.

In terms of ticking off all the releases, there is the annual catalogue, of which we have most of the last 25 in the SlotRacer Library, plus a few others going back to 1966.

And there's probably some online resources, most likely on German-language forums, which might be more of a challenge to locate.

https://www.amazon.de/-/en/Carrera-Unive...3980641112

It does not contain recent cars, f.e. from after 2002

I noticed this thread soon after re-reading the following article in June 1969 Model Cars magazine.
Written by Rob Whitmarsh who was one of the top club racers of that era.

Thanks to Dave Stevens for the scans.
