I have confirmed interest for 4 x 2 motors. If more people are interested or 3rd motors are required, the other possibility might be to place a 2nd order for 8 additional motors, if there are enough people interested. I have already potentially interest for 2 more motors. So perhaps another 6 available on a 2nd order ?
But the price of course would have to be with the shipping cost as before, but maybe our Friends in the US can come up with a better solution once they had the chance to discuss it with the Retailer.

i would be interested in 2 off motors if still available
one work around is for the sender to state the value on the customs declaration at less than £10
that way there is no VAT or handling charge and send as many as they like
but is a gamble , if the package gets lost etc
dont think slot car corner would be able to do that
but a 3rd party ( private individual) might be the way
just a thought

Good Morning,
and another Race day looms

, after a shakedown on Thursday evening at the NERCS club, the scene is set for Round 3 on Sunday afternoon.
However behind the scenes we had some drama already, Mountain Views Alfa T33 had an issue with the rear lighting wires fouling the Spur gear, but this was fixed with a little taping of the wires to the body thanks to makem our Round host Controller.
And the Camaro of Courtney Sport suffered with a bout of not wanting to go around sharp corners, once again finding that those wood guides don't really work well on our varied mixture of Proxy tracks, even in this case a wood routed track. Although I was surprise as the guide fitted was only just outside the recommended limits. Length was only 0.24mm longer than spec and 0.16mm too thick. So it was agreed with the Team to change over the guide for this Round, and then I will take a look at the original one and modify it before the next Round at Woodland Fort Club.
So good luck to everyone, and hopefully it should be all go for Sunday's Round 3, which incidentally I understand is a night time run

so I hope all those lights will be working as those NERCS guys will be using candles to see them

Thanks to all the guys at NERCS for running the cars, the battles look to be close through most of the classes.
Looks like you took fastest lap in Class D Brumos, nice work

Good Morning,
After a frantic night most cars survived the 2nd run of Night Racing, although sadly the Porsche 917/30 of Lifeboats Racing did sustain some damage which took it out of the race. And similarly the night racing took its toll with the MGA of Green Star Racing with a broken rear body post. They will be repaired before the next Round on Thursday night at Woodland Fort.
So here are the
Championship Places after Round 3
Round3 Fastest Laps
We have plenty to talk about , so I look to do my
Pitlane review tomorrow or Wednesday, and the next Round 4 will be run at Woodland Fort Circuit this Thursday starting at 7.30pm

This is going to be strange, it's the first proxy we've held at Woodland where we have members entered (Mike & myself), and it's also the first proxy at Woodland that I wont be attending, we run a boarding cattery and part of the regs state that someone has to be on the premises 24/7, well this Thursday my wife is going out so I have to stay at home, I will have an online presence at the club for any advice but it is down to the members to organise.
So it will be my home race but I'll be awaiting the results just like the rest of you.

Thank you NERCS for hosting the round, and getting the pictires the right way up, still haven't figured out why mine had a mind of their own!
Looks like some cars are solid performers and will do well everywhere and a few others are going to be up and down (mine included) so could be some close finishes and ars that come on strong towards the end of the competition.
