Patience has paid off. A full set of N.O.S. SCX TT tyres for my 'road-rubbered' Powerslot Pajero turned up on the French eBay site. 

Bought on the 4th Oct. Arrived today and they are the real thing.

Lots better than the worn out low profile racing rubber and really looks the part now. 

Just in case anyone else is looking they're SCX Ref. 7611, 27.5 x 10.

I wasn't sure so also bought the 27.5 x 13.5's. Maybe they'll fit the SCX Hummer? We'll see.

P.S. Pendles call it a Montero. Guess they'll be right?

They are right!
It´s curious but in spanish slang pajero means wanker in the sexual meaning ,so in Spain it was called Montero (one who goes through the mounts).
