Scorpius firmwares and configurations.
#1

Ok the firmware groups have been set.
This is the list.
Essentially any of the 16 products can be repurposed to any other firmware. Examples, the analogue lap counter can be repurposed as a tacho, the Scenic Light Board can be repurposed as a Carrera Lane Brain etc just by changing the plug ins.

1. Scorpius native car decoder.

2. Carrera Native car decoder.

3. Nitrous car decoder.

4. Scorpius Lane Brain

5. Carrera Lane Brain.

6.   Light Board.

7. Analogue lap counter.

8.  Scenic lighting.

9. Surround sound driver.

10. 0.49” OLED screen driver. I2C).

11. 4.3” LCD driver. (UART).

12. 7”  LCD driver (SPI).

13. Tacho.

14.RF to BT converter.

15. LiDAR speed detector.

Ok next task. To be able to configure the two data ports currently using I2C so they can be used for any task.
Another job to do is also gain access to the UART section of the chip so we can allocate each port to I2C or UART protocols. SPI would be nice too but would require a different hardware set up.
So each port will have access to each possibility in either I2C or UART.
Each port will have the following options:
1. 0.49” OLED screen.
2. 4.3” LCD screen. (UART)
3. 7.0” LCD screen.
4. Sound driver.
5. Hall sensor.
6. Tacho.
7. Piggy back to a second MPD.
8. LiDAR.

And of course you can use both ports simultaneously. Example tacho on port 1 with 4.3” LCD in port 2 so you can see the result.

All this will be done on PC using the Scorpius dongle and program.
