Hello, and welcome to the wonders of week 48

This week we look at colourful Bugattis, an exclusive Alfa, a sensational Scarab, and some superb racing, plus we have all the upcoming slot car events, and a feature on artisan makers.
Slot Cars

- Bugatti Nation Color Project Add some colour to your racing with Hobbyclassic’s fantastic new series of Bugatti Type 59s in a range of liveries based on the national racing colours of twenty countries, including Britain, France, Germany, Spain and USA, to name but a few. What a great idea, just imagine a pit lane full of colourful Bugattis!

- UKSF Alfa Romeo UKSF have revealed one of the limited edition cars for this weekend’s Winter Slot Car Market. The first of one hundred Alfa Romeos has gone up for auction on ebay, and the rest will be on sale at the event.

- Avant Slot Plans 2023 Avant Slot have unveiled their 2023 plans at Foroslot this weekend. There are some exciting new cars and liveries…

- ScaleAuto BMW M6 & M8 ScaleAuto have announced two more models in the GT3 1/24 line, a BMW M6 GT3, and a BMW M8 GTE. Both models represent cars that raced at Daytona in 2018.

- Fly & ScaleAuto ScaleAuto have announced what could be a match made in heaven. The Fly Racing EVO 3 range will feature classic Fly Car Model bodies, like the Porsche 917 or Lancia 037, combined with Scaleauto chassis and mechanics.

- Penelope Pitlane Scarab F1 Pendle Slot Racing have updated their striking 1960 Scarab F1 kit. The kit now has a more accurate body shape, a more detailed driver and interior, and 3d printed wheel inserts. The model represents Lance Reventlow’s 1960 Monaco car. The Scarab may not have been the fastest car, but it was certainly iconic.
Tracks & Scenery

- TimeSlot Chronobox Time Slot is a universal system of timing and mode management, and most importantly, it’s available for iOS, Android and PC. It’s universal, plug & play and compatible with any track without needing to know any electronics. It features multiple race and training modes, driver manager, and sector timing. Unfortunately it’s not expected to be available until the fourth quarter of 2023.
