Slot.it Porsche 962 Slot.it have published some new photos of the upcoming Porsche 962C livery. The model represents the car driven at Le Mans in 1991, finishing seventh with drivers Hans Joachim Stuck, Frank Jelinski and Derek Bell.

Le Mans Minitaures Sunoco Porsche 911 RSS

LMM Porsche 911 RSS Le Mans Minitaures have released the Sunoco liveried Porsche 911 RSS. Modelled on the Roger Penske car driven to sixth place in the 1973 6 hours of Watkins Glen by Mark Donohue and George Follmer. Available now.

Revoslot Opel Kadett Revoslot have released photos of the first liveries and body configurations for its new Opel Kadett; a 1979 Monte-Carlo Rally livery with Clarr-Mahuteaux at the wheel, a GT/E Coupé by Günther Knippschild at Zolder in 1980, and a historic racer from the Brno Histocup of 2014. Expected in April.

Scalextric Ford Sierra RS500 Scalextric have released Andy Rouse’s Kaliber sponsored Ford Sierra RS500 which won nine out of 12 races in the 1988 BTCC. In spite of his dominant performances, Rouse narrowly lost out in the championship to Frank Sytner and Paul Dowsett driving class B and D cars. Available from retailers now.

Seat 1400B Hobbyclassic have released a new Seat 1400B. The model represents the car raced to second place in the 1957 Montjuich Cup of Sports Cars by Juan Fernandez. It is a resin bodied car, and is a limited edition of 50 units.

Junkyard Dog AC Cobra in two different versions

Junkyard Dog Pete Shepherd of Racing Replicas has built two different versions of the same car. Built from his own shells, the two versions represent the real car as it will race in the US and the UK. Spot the difference?

Mercedes Benz Rennabteilung Avant Slot have announced new designs for a Mercedes transporter, the iconic 1955 Rennabteilung. The truck was capable of carrying a Mercedes 300SL sports car, or a W196 GP car, and was capable of 171km/h itself. Expected in the last quarter of the year.

Slot.it Audi R8 Slot.it have posted CAD drawings of a nicely detailed Audi R8. Details are scarce, but we’ll keep you posted.

Slot Racing

Rally Cars Slotting Proxy With two stages at the Send Scalextric Racing Club in Woking, the results in the Proxy Rally have been coming in thick and fast. Two very different stages were in prospect this weekend, with the cars tackling a tight and super slippery stage on Saturday, before opening up the their throttles on the Shed End Circuit.

Poolesville Forest 4380r has posted photos of his rare, three lane, 1/24 scale Scalextric track. Scalextric’s Super 124 system was only manufactured for two years in the late 1960s, so you won’t find many layouts like this around.
