Artomotive is a new section of the site where we take an unapologetically nostalgic look at the wonderful plans, cutaway drawings, and artwork of the classic cars of the past.
From the pages of the old modelling magazines, and from the pens of some fine artists and draughtsmen, we’ve remastered some of those vintage drawings and blueprints, and we’ve made the text from the accompanying articles much more legible and accessible.
From Alfa Romeo to Vanwall, by way of Ferrari, Porsche, Bentley and many, many more, we’ve dusted off those old magazine articles and recreated them in a completely new format. They’ve all been cleaned up and polished, the faded colours have been restored, and the the torn pages have been repaired, so they are as good as new.
We’ve already added over sixty classic models, but there will be plenty more to come in the following weeks and months.
