Another fun event took place at the Riverhampton Grand Prix Raceway last Thursday.
Seven friends got together and raced 4-classes of cars after enjoying a wonderful souvlaki dinner with all the trimmings.
Luckily everyone had some Tzatziki, so no one offended anyone with garlic breath.
Up first were the Carrera DTM/GT class cars. A stock class with urethane tires. They all sound like a bag of marbles going down the track compared to other classes.
The pre-war cars were up next. All scratch built. Bodies were purchased from DArt Hobbies or Pendles.
Then came the Slot.It DTM class. There's a yellow Benz taxi in the bunch!
The last class to race was what we call RevoSlot Jr's. The Group-2 cars. Stock class with urethane tires. A blast to race against each other. Nice looking cars too.
As promised, pics of the flipside of the pre-war cars will be on the next T32 thread. Too many pics on this thread.
Thank you very kindly for looking,
Ken
