Unboxed some childhood toys. Got a Scalextric C1253 track set, but no cars.

Any guidance for a newbie here on what cars I can buy that will work on this?

Pretty much any standard (non-digital) 1/32 car will work fine. The guide might need to be filed, trimmed, or replaced depending on the brand of car (Carrera cars have particularly thick, long, and deep guides), but other than that, shouldn't be any problems.
