Another Toyota 2000GT
#1

Hi

Another Toyota 2000GT built from an Aoshima kit, no where near the level of Leo's convertible but I'm happy with it.

Used a 3dp adjustable chassis with in line standard Scalextric motor, Slot-It plastic wheels with Toyota 88C inserts and Caterham tyres. Couldn't find a 3DP chassis for a front mount motor

Interior is a parts box lexan bit as I couldn't get the kit interior to fit with the inline motor.

Just ordered another Aoshima kit, this time for a Suzuki Jimny for a bargain £10.99 from japan2uk.com

Very nice !
I've made slotcars out of two of their kits, both Datsun/Nissan Fairlady Zs, the original 240Z and the current model 400Z.

I also have a kit but have yet to do much with it.
First impressions were that it was a small car.

The 1/32 Arii kit is extremely small. The Fujimi 1/24 kit isn't all that much bigger.
