Paul - your sublime Goodwood track is undoubtedly the star of this year's show...

The opportunity to race on it is simply too good to miss. I'm certainly looking forward to it!

As i never raced digital before, I am just trying to work how i can do this, a small handicap is that I don’t have any digital cars, and if i did i don't have a digital track to try them on before this event.
But I am very tempted. Best get myself a couple of chips  Bigsmile
I assume that you cannot use your own controllers at this event ?

Hi Graham,

I can help with loaner cars for any of the races if that helps. They will be out of the box standard Scaley. (i.e. no glue trued or tuned aspects)
In terms of throttles, Truspeed do a wireless version, but is likely to lead to conflict with my ARC Pro or other ARC Pro's working in the vicinity, so I suggest we keep it a level playing field in terms of throttles and we stick to Scalextric.

And just to help whet your appetite for a bit of racing fun, I have just recieved the prizes for this year's UK Slot Fest racing on the Goodwood circuit.

Through the generosity of Scalextric, there is more than £850 worth of Sclextric Car up for grabs across the St Mary's cup and the RAC TT Celebration race.

Grids are limited in size and time, so dont delay in getting your names down for a chance to win some lovely prizes.

All registrations fees will be collected on the day and will be donated to Mission Motorsport.

For St Mary's Cup each driver respectve prize - so for a £10 registration fee you have the chance of wining over £300 worth of prize.

For the RAC TT Celebration top prize is worth over £150 and costs only £5 to register.

Dont delay email havenwoodpro@btinternet.com today to register:

Big Thank You to an anonymous Benefactor who appears to have posted me a set of 10 SureChange Guides.

I am assuming someone read the discussion between myself and Graham and generously donated some.

Whoever or whoever, Thank you.

Ken Miles Cup will have some varied liveries, but will do my best to replicate cars that took part during the race, even if their base colour might not be truly representative ;-)

The new paint whilst covering well, is not as glossy as I would have liked out of the tin. Bit work to buff them up needed...
