I have several Team Slot Audi Quattros. Most of them have the "standard" chassis - fixed motor mounts are the most obvious distinguishing feature. These all run fine on my track.
One car - the yellow 555 China Rally livery, has the "Pro" chassis - the type with a separate, screwed-in (a bit like a Slot. It) motor mount. This is the one that is causing me grief.
Both types of chassis came with the same type of guide - all the dimensions are the same, I've checked them with my vernier caliper. However, the blade on the guide is <6mm deep. I suspect that the guide support must be a little higher on the Pro chassis. I've adjusted the front ride height as much as I can without the tyres fouling the body, but still the car keeps de-slotting.
Any suggestions how I might overcome this without resorting to too much butchery of the chassis??
Thanks in advance,
Stuart.
