I've tried quite a few "superglue" variants over the years, from the original Loctite product to ones that claimed to be better and were anything but.

These days I usually use either plumber's solvent weld or araldite, depending on what I'm actually gluing.

I've recently bought some 3d printed stuff which "needs to be superglued" (that's what the seller said......).  When I queried which one he replied "Normal superglue".  Very helpful, I don't think.

Which "superglue" products to you fellas recommend?

After trying various this is all I've used for the last 5 years or so...

   

I use it on tyres, bodyshells, threads etc....and sprinkle bicarb powder on when it's still wet to make a fantastic filler that sets like concrete

I quite like the type that is branded as 151 that I found in Asda but now bulk-buy on Ebay. It is quick setting if used sparingly and slower if too much is applied :-) 

Fingers can usually be separated with a bit of easing !

The best Superglue on the market  by a wide margin is Loctite 380 "BlackMax",...........a rubber toughened Industrial CA that tops (by a wide margin) all of the Industrial test reports. Unlike almost all CA's it has very good shear strength

I have been using it for years, and have recommended to many,..all swear by it.

You will not find it at Hardware or DIY shops, and as a very premium product,..it is certainly priced accordingly.

I got round to buying some just before Xmas, but haven't used it yet
