Gaydon 2022 - a glimpse behind the scenes
#1

Something the public doesn't see, the time and effort put into setting up for the weekend.

It's estimated it took 16 man hours to set up this one display - and another 4.5 to remove it all at close of play on Sunday.

Below are just a FEW of the other exhibits and trade stands being set up for the show.

Just think of all the hours spent in preparation beforehand - and again once back at base in unpacking, repairing, restocking and cashing up. In addition there will have been a backlog of online orders to service for the majority of retailers. Add to that travel time and expenses for one and all - and in particular the non-UK vendors

Was it worth? H*** yes! WE enjoyed ourselves and see some of the other posts for the crowds who attended - and the looks on the faces of both the young - and young at heart.  Thumbup

Hi Top Down,

Thank you for the typical Gaydon photos.
I have now missed the event for the third time in a row due to for me unclear COVID-19- and Brexit rules.

Just for fun:
Marc Abbott put together this video from some photos taken in 2017, sound on:

I hope to be back with one of my tracks in 2023.
