WHO Racing 2022 Dates, Rules & Regs
#1

These are the dates booked at the Barn in 2022. After warm-up events in March, the plan is to re-start the 2020 HO Championship in April - carrying over the points from the first three events of 2020.

HO rules and regs remain the same - although the following newly-released chassis have been added to our WHO Mod class:
  • Bulldog HO Racing chassis
  • JAG Hobbies DR-1 chassis
  • JAG Hobbies NC-2 chassis
  • JAG Hobbies TR-3 chassis
  • JAG Hobbies PR-5 chassis

The Bulldog is a Viper-style replacement chassis for the Tomy Turbo. The JAG chassis use Tomy Mega-G components to fit underneath Aurora, AFX and AutoWorld bodies. As always, please make sure all components meet the WHO Mod guidelines - including standard 6-ohm armature and motor magnets.

The HO rules page is here: http://www.whoracing.org.uk/rules.html

The main change to our digital format is the introduction of Pioneer Legends pairs racing for Wednesday evenings - Trans-Am being incorporated into a new Muscle Car Mondiale class on Saturdays. There are some small tweaks to formats. The Goodwood regs remain the same - although the inaugural event has been delayed two years.

Planned development to the Goodwood Saturday and to the GT Championship will follow in 2023. The important thing for 2022 is to get back to racing!

If you're looking for Christmas shopping ideas, hopefully the Guide gives you some options. However, if you had eligible cars for 2020, they will all be able to run in 2022, 2023 and 2024. And for the new class, one Pioneer Legends car will be required per pair - so not everyone needs one. They are pretty cool though... Don't forget we have 10% discount vouchers for the Gaugemaster shop, plus 10% discount codes for the Pendles and Jadlams websites - more details in the WHO email newsletter.

And any questions - just ask Thumbup
