Our 2026 season sees a record 33 events at the Barn. We've added two brand new events to the calendar - an extra Digital Saturday is added in February that will feature American-themed cars and formats, plus a Rally-Raid fun night in August which will be a chance to enjoy Dakar vehicles on Ninco & SCX off-road stages.
There are some tweaks to the calendar. WHO Digital Wednesdays now fall on the second Wednesday of the month, a week after the monthly HO race. The WHO Goodwood Revival has moved from its usual slot in September to the first Saturday of October, with the Digital Test Night moved into September. Both July and October see four events at the Barn - and we have another action-packed summer holiday programme, which went down well in 2025.
Race fees remain at £3 adults / £2 under-16s on Wednesday nights and £6 adults / £4 under-16s for the Digital Saturdays. The Slot Rally GB Championship event in July is hosted by the club - fees and regs will be publicised in due course by the Slot Rally GB organisers.
More details about our WHO Slot Rally, Scalextric Digital and HO scale formats and regulations for next season will follow very soon.

Club cars and controllers are always available at the WHO Slot Rally events and members often have suitable cars for sale - ranging from perfectly competitive retro Scalextric and SCX models at £10-£20, right up to the latest pro-rally models from SRC, Scaleauto etc.
Mike D also has a range of tyres that he produces, which are particularly useful for the older models where the rubber may have hardened or perished. They cost £3 a pair and are available at the club nights.

The learning curve can be steep for those new to digital simulation racing and the Nascar & Trans-Am Wednesday evenings are designed to give new racers a perfect introduction and training session. We ask that all new racers successfully complete at least (and preferably two) of these events before moving on to the GT Championship and the Saturday events - all of which use more complex formats and faster cars.
The first two thirds of the year is dominated by team racing, so it's not necessary to buy any cars. However, the autumn Goodwood and Tin Top Saturdays do require your own cars. We recommend a Scalextric BTCC car as a first purchase, so you can take part in our awesome three-race BTCC weekend format at the November and December Tin Top Saturdays.
