I mean [A]: Look at these:
[B] They would be robust slot cars like NASCAR Cars were.
Even some generic ones with no brand name smooth front that you could decal grills/lights to look like the Ford/Chevy/Dodge and Toyotas would be sweet, and no licensing fees !
and [C] according to wikipedia dimensions are:
Wheelbase: 2,845 mm
Length: 5,245 mm
Height: 1,524 mm
Width: 2,032 mm
Which would make a great 1/32 slot truck capable of utilising long or short can motors in any AW/SW or Inline configuration:
Wheelbase: 88.9 mm
Length: 163.9 mm
Height: 47.6 mm
Width: 63.5 mm
Pioneer/3DP/Resin masters please take note

A close relative to NASCAR is the Australian V8 Utes.
Picture taken from the Falcon Raceways digital club FB page showing their 1/32 resin Utes cast by the club owner Lee Thorndike. Chassis are JS Chassis (see under traders) inline with S can motors.
Lee is busy with the day job currently, but could be persuaded to mould some more body shells soon.
Cheers

I would buy as many trucks as they could produce but unfortunately the major manufacturers bailed out of anything NASCAR some time ago and I can't see them returning any time soon. Licensing costs are a major hurdle to overcome as well.
There is a similar British pick up truck championship as well though
LINK which could provide an opportunity for some enterprising manufacturer to exploit. How about it Pioneer?

The licensing would be zero if it was a generic truck with no official affiliation
The Brit trucks are, as you pointed out when we met last, scaled down versions.
The actual NASCAR trucks are the full size monsters

Not quite. They are also scaled down versions, here is a comparison shot for you:
The British ones are smaller still but not by a huge amount.

I stand corrected. The dimensions I got from wiki are the specs for the current NASCAR camping world truck series, if they are just over 2 metres wide that fire/rescue truck must be big enough to live in !
No idea what the dimensions are for the British series, but they are only 2 litre 16V engines (guessing naturally aspirated judging by only 230 hp)
Obviously the Americans run 5.86l (358 Ci) V8's pushing anywhere between 450 BHP (restricted) to 700 BHP

Nice find Qman, but I would want hard bodies.

RMS did a generic one years ago to fit the Scalextric Nascar chassis. Never sold very well and we stopped. I always thought they were cool and would love to see an RTR.
