[HWP]

A buddy of mine is looking for information on what these old 1/24 scale slot cars are worth. He was going to sell them at a fleamarket, but asked me if could find out what they might be worth. 

             
The orange car is a Cox La Cucaracha in very good shape (one recently sold in similar condition on feebay for $270). The silver Champion is a Porsche 906, the blue one is a Ford GT40 Roadster, both with some body damage, but the chassis are in good shape, though some of their tires will need to be replaced. The controller is an MRC. None of these cars have been tested and have been in storage for a long time. 

                                     
Comes with the case and extra armature as shown. Any idea on value for the lot? Any interest, let me know and I'll pass on the info to my friend.

Hi Leo, The Ford GT body was one of the bodies available with the 1st issue of the "Champion" 1/24 RTR cars,.....this one appears to be an original.

That said, Champion did not produce their own bodies (They were purchased from Lancer, Pactra, and Revell), and, I believe that the Fords' that Champion used for their RTR"s were from Lancer.

Thanks for everyone's interest and input! We found a buyer who paid $300 for the lot. Seemed a fair price, and my friend was thrilled as he was thinking of unloading them at a flea market for a few bucks each. 

I gotta start going to flea markets more often!   

My son once picked up a Tyco 440X2 in a bin of Hotwheels. They seller knew what it was worth, but let my son have it for $4 anyway.
