Revell Corvette 63
#1

This car apparently belonged originally to John Harris - he was a team driver for Pittman in the early 60's

It has a Pittman 6001 installed.... and it does scream - we as well as possible for an early 60's motor Bigsmile

As it arrived:

I stripped it down and painted it ..... still to decide  on decals.

It does not have the from grill and bumpers - if anyone has one they want to dispose of :)

I might be able to help regarding Corvette bumpers...give me a day or so.

I can supply the turbine style wheel inserts and body side plates as of now....sorry but no chrome.

Chrome is no longer an issue - the Chrome pens work brilliantly on the slightly bigger items

Thanks John!!

Nice looking Corvette Abie321. Perfect colour blue too!
It's a newbies priveledge to bring up old threads.  Tease

It was very common to remove both front and rear bumpers on your Corvette if you entered it in a race. It doesn't really need the bumpers.
