Thanks for your support,Hub!
Here is a sneak preview of the top secret #3.

Will be a flashy, luxurious super sports car… Rofl
This is not a fever dream, the real car exists (or has existed).

Cheers

This project has been dragging on for quite a while, but now we are reaching the final chapter! Sun
This is what got me started for #3.

I know absolutely nothing about this car, I suspect it is a one off.
But can you imagine slowly driving along Champs Elysee (or what ever your local mainstreet is called) in a car like this? Bigsmile

The resin body required some work. Not surprising, it is my own casting! Sun
I made a soft top of wood and styrene.

I had no suitable steering wheel, I made one out of styrene +a new method for wheel inserts. Sun

Here are most of the peaces invoved.
Turned out like this.

I may now have the worlds largest collection of Goggomobil slot cars… Rofl Rofl Rofl
Thanks for looking!

If they go at scale speeds, you'll have time to do another one before the race is finished!

How do they run? Great stuff as ever Thumbup

Do you think the chap in the 1:1 car is regretting chopping the roof off? Now he can't get the door to shut!  Bigsmile

@Gordon: The new ”sports car” is not yet properly run in and adjusted. The others I have played artound with quite a bit! I would say they run better than expected. Maybe the very small wheels help to get a low center of gravity and the tires are, of course, far too wide. They run rather predictably, pushed too hard they gently roll over. Bigsmile
I use rather hot 1/43 scale motors, but then I have a rather long straight were they can stretch out… 10 or 12 volts is quite enough. Sun

@Mr M: Rofl I did not think of that! I think he learned to live with the open door! Anyway, I choose to have both doors shut!
Beneath the side panels you can see an enforcing beam, but it does not seem to help.

Sorry for rusty English, I don’t post very often!

What a nice trio of Gogomobils!
I like the details you've added, like the indicators on both sides of the convertible version.
Well done!

Yes, this trio cover every possible need! One family car, one working vehicle and one sports car! Who can ask for anything more? Bigsmile
