The WRC Manufacturers Championship was set to be decided this coming weekend in Australia. However, the devastating "Bush Fires" have led to the event being cancelled. As Hyundai were leading the championship they have been declared the champion manufacturer.

This is great news for WRC as Hyundai seemed on a "champions or bust" mission this year after several disappointing seasons.
