Shelby Daytona
Found a STL file last year and did some trial prints and a lot of CAD modifications, then it sat there in the unloved drawer until I found time to finish off the accessories (lights , exhausts, rear wheel trims, front wheels and an interior) coupled with my tuning fork chassis used successfully on the Bill Thomas Cheetah (post 208 on this thread).
Some sanding, some primer filler then rattle can blue courtesy of Halfords, glazing and good to go with a Slot It Boxer motor and 10:26 IL gearing for the local club pre 67 Goodwood class.

Cro-Sal version of the Bill Thomas Cheetah.
This was created from my Cheetah hard top shell (post 208 on this thread) by sawing off and redrawing the entire rear section from the cockpit backwards (see the 3dp addiction thread post 47 for details). Printed, rubbed down, Halfords filler primer and top coat spray cans, bits added and we have the finished article ready to club race with its hard top sister. Lights, shell, driver/interior and engine intakes is FDM 3dp with a piano wire roll bar and a vac form screen sitting on a my 3dp chassis configured inline boxer.
Shell weighs in at 14 grms so lighter than the hard top and that flies around the club track so hoping this will go even better.

How wide is it across the wheels John?
Life is like a box of Slot cars...

Kevan,
Original Coupe resin shell I scanned was 62mm wide which when I compared it to the George Turner Coupe shell I was lent to do a chassis for, was 2mm over sized on width and @2mm too short so I adjusted it in CAD and now its 58mm on the rear arches for both the Coupe and the open top versions.
Cheers

VW Kombi LWB Transporter
VW transporter (see the 3dp addiction thread) for the design/development) built, painted and decaled by fellow club member Derek, just in time to transport off to the garage for repairs, the Cro-Sal Cheetah recovered after plunging off the track to the floor.
All plastic parts 3dp with the exception of the driver, glazing & transporter bed which is proprietary embossed plastic card.
