Here’s the wireless MPD Mini for Carrera 132/124 for F1 and other cars where space is simply too tight.

It’s just 24.8x14.0x1.7
347.2 sq.mm. It’s the second smallest decoder in terms of area on the market and the smallest decoder in terms of volume at 590.2 cubic mm compared to the next 1735 cubic mm.
Native compatible or use with Scorpius controller and Nitrous dongle.

It comes with power and motor wires and the IR LED. That’s it. 
Simple yet deadly.

Of course you can solder any accessory on that you like as the firmware will be identical to its big brother decoder with JSTs.

Ok here we have a MPD F1 for Carrera at 24.8x14.2 or 352.16 sq.mm. The F1 chip comes in at 700 square.mm so we have halved it, and still wireless.
The IR LED is surface mounted on the bottom side of the board and fits perfectly. The chip is fixed to chassis using BluTack. 
The braid wires and motor wires were soldered to board or you can leave the wires in that it comes with and solder at non board ends.

As you can see a neat and unobtrusive install.
