Pain In The Pinion
#1

I took five Fly Audi Quattros out of their boxes today: all had split pinions.  Half of these have never been run so it must be a manufacturing/materials issue.

Anyway...

Has anyone else had this issue and what did they use as a replacement, assuming there might be something better than throwing more Fly pinions at them?

Fly pinions are notorious for splitting. They made them fit too tight on the motor shaft.

I simply replace with brass pinions as Kevan suggested. Never need to look at it again.
