Don't know what downsides there might be to that though?

Best for printing out stuff for the track probably. pngs are good for decals.

I can export the eps files as both if that would help.

Jpgs are good for photos, but not very good with graphics, where png is much better.

But vector graphics are much better than both. No pixelation no matter how much you enlarge them, and editable. Eps is good, but svg is the best, being more web friendly, and having better free software options, in my opinion.

Happy to be led by the experts - but needs to be a common enough format for most people to be able to download and open 'whatever'.

Yes, that's a fair point. The eps thing was just an experiment really, as Gordon has a lot of them.

PNG is, in my experience, as widely acceptable as JPG, opens in almost any image software, but is sharper, and has better colour definition.

Having said that, I'm not going to turn into the "file format fascist". All contributions are welcome, and at the sizes we use, maybe the differences are minimal.

I've now added some more trackside banners and logos, including Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Marchal, Marlboro, Momo, Peugeot, Porsche, Scalextric and Shell.

I've now added a new page to the Graphics section for track room posters.

The first set I've done are digital recreations of the main feature pages from the vintage magazine "101 Circuits for Scalextric Drivers", and they are available in A4, A3 and A2 sizes.

I've started with the British tracks Silverstone, Snetterton, Mallory Park, Oulton Park, Thruxton and Brands Hatch, but I'll also add the other tracks at some point.

I've now added the other featured tracks from 101 Circuits to the page. So that's Spa, Monte Carlo, Monza, Sebring, Karlskoga, Zandvoort and Rouen.

I've also added another section for a series of my own F1-2018 track posters. Just a few added so far, but more to come.

Jason
Good resource.  Any chance of the Red Bull Ring F1 poster. It could form a great base for framed awards for our digital events held on a track which has tenuous links to the real circuit.

Thanks

Thanks Matt.

The Red Bull Ring will be in the next batch of posters I do, so I'll put it up as soon as I get a chance. Thumbup .
