Cars you have bought in 2024

...and more conventional but very colourful Sisu trucks. Bought throughout 2024, all three came from different sellers on FB Marketplace.

The orange 'Drag Truck', apart from the missing aerial, came near mint boxed. Alongside it, the yellow 'Gummi-Mayer' IS mint boxed.

Finally the UPS truck is unboxed but very good. In fact it's very close in condition to the Drag Truck with its missing aerial. However, this is one step down from that, having glued mirrors. Those on the Drag Truck are still the original factory fit.

I'd not expected to be able to afford any of these but once again all three were very reasonably priced - and negotiable! - on FB Marketplace. A happy hunting ground, if you're careful.  Thumbup

P.S. Oops - and one more, the common or garden, cheap and cheerful Bridgestone truck. The B&W check roof indicates that this one is the backup truck for our six truck grid of Fly racers. Checkeredflag (If one breaks down this is the sub'. It's also got chequered tape on the underside of the chassis!)

Love all your choices - the variety is fantastic!!

Been after this for a long time and managed to find it at a reasonable price: Was waiting for me to pickup in UK on our last visit.

Then on my local 2nd had site this came up for absolutely nothing compared to value :

BRM is perfect, Ferrari needs screen - and both Hondas need parts for engine/motor covers ,

Also waiting for me in UK on last visit from another seller that only posts to UK - for me no issue as my daughter just keeps them for me until I arrive Bigsmile
I picked these up for 10 quid each - again just could not bypass (say that as they are not my usual collecting purchases Bigsmile  )

Credit car is now well and truly put away ....... until next time - the addiction is bad Bigsmile Thumbup Thumbup

I do like the range of cars LMM offer. How do they race/perform on the track?

Arrived today. As the only NASCAR fan in the village I couldn't resist this lovely pair:

They will probably be a bit rubbish on the track but I don't really care.

Could not resist, as the one I already had is different.

Following my recent lacklustre performance in the Worthing Digital BTCC Championship, I have taken a long hard look at myself...As the owner of the team, the man who prepares the cars, and the guy who races them, it was clear that the problem lay in the choice of car! So out with the old, and in with something new.

A longer guide lead, and some cheeky little flared wheel arches, mean it might be a closer match to my preferred car configuration and be similar to that of the other cars I drive on the day.

We'll see...

Have long fancied an Electra and succumbed to an Ebay auction a few days ago. It came with a Javelin which needed a motor, a driver's head and other bits. The Electra needs a new screen but is basically in good condition.
