I would think it would be much easier to construct/align a 4 wheel drive configuration using a sidewinder pod,....if you are using a pulley system, an anglewinder will cause alignment (performance/longevitiy) issues with the pulley on the endbell end

Not two motors now. 1 motor dual shaft with drive shafts to front axle so will be anglewinder shaft drive 4x4. I've also got lots of other mods to do as well but they're. mainly just cosmetic changes. I'll post pics when finished .

These motor pods are Slot.it compatible and i think that Scaleauto and Slot.it pods/chassis are interchangeable

I saw a car for the first time yesterday and thought what an odd layout and wonder if one of these motors would suit your project...or any of the layout for that matter.

We'll in a way. I'm using AW pod as normal R series but dual drive motor so 1 end to rear axle but other end will drive a shaft to 2nd shaft behind front axle. This shaft to drive front axle so 4WD shaft drive anglewinder. The front axle won't take a gear as in your pic as guide will be in way so that's what front drive shaft is for. Hopefully I can post photos in about 7 to 10 days showing finished build

Wow thank for replies. It's taking longer because I got a home series so have to buy anglewinder chassis motorpod new motor etc. then to buy gears I want good quality parts & need 4 axle hangers 2 axles bearings brass tube for front axle then I don't like scaleautos wheels so using scaley rs200 wheels as inserts in alloys (3305) type. Also fiting pod spring suspension & at front have fabricated mounting posts for src shocks then I also planed some cosmetic improvements. It must be perfect but as soon as done I'll post photos & hopefully video too, thanks all of you for help & interest.
