1/32 NASCAR Scale Scalextric and SCX
Friday 30th December 2022 7pm
Everyone is welcome
Two races, one on the Oval and a second race on the road course.
This is an open event, everyone is welcome, we aim to make this an enjoyable event for both novice and experienced racers, bring the family.
1/32 SCX and or Scalextric NASCARS. Standard cars with wired guides will be competitive but as the cars are now getting quite old, we allow any Scalextric “S” can type motor up to 20k rpm and alloy wheels, competitive loan cars will be available.
If you want the full set of rules they can be found here but so long as it’s a plastic chassis and you avoid silicon tyres you will be fine

 The results will be added from both races to find the champion, with Trophies for the overall winner, best visitor, best junior and ladies trophy.
This will probably count to the UK Hardbody Scale Racing Ranking

Do you feel the need for speed. Are you bored, too much Christmas and not enough to keep your trigger finger or thumb happy. I have just the thing, at Rockingham Slotcar club. It’s an open meeting and everyone is welcome. Doors open 7pm and we will be racing on both the oval and the scale track with NASCARS. Plenty of loan cars available. We run segmented races over a set number of laps. Best combined time will win, trophies for best under 16, best visitor and a lady’s trophy.
