I finally built a car using a modern motor!! I got this NSR to go into a SlotiT kit chassis but it didn't suit it. Hopped all over the place, obviously too much grunt, had to go back to the tame 25000rpm Boxer. This one is 38,500 rpm and has quite a bit of torque.
Put into a nice brass chassis and it's great. Good power and decent brakes. I very tempted to get a few more motors. I keep three ProSlot Alfa 156s at home for guests to use but whilst they are fun, they ain't quick. A trio of these things would be great for people who are finding the Alfas too easy. I have a couple more Fly bodies around somewhere.
Oops...just noticed the front wing is broken. Hope I have some plasticard left.

An easier solution than building up the front winglets..... chop 'em orf. Bit more weight saved! Originality...who cares?

Another chassis for 32nd scale car. Getting to be a habit but I still prefer the big ones. Nice 9 foot (full size) wheelbase and big boots!
There is a 6 hour race at Confolens in September on the new track with a 16 metre straight - yup - 16 metres and another that is 11 metres. Quite looking forward to having a go.
The main race is for standard cars like Revell and the like but there is another race on the first day for Muscle Cars. I've ordered a couple of bodies from Betta but this chassis will give me the choice of what to run. I have one already with a SlotiT kit chassis and a Sideways chassis taken from something that is the right size. Neither are particularly quick but very easy to drive so we will see what goes best. This one is quick plus the fittings are the same as a Mura should I need something even quicker on the day.
