Just given the cars a once over and there are a few issues:

Class A:

Oxo Cube - Corvette CR6
There is something heavy banging about inside, I'm assuming some weight has come loose. Needs opening up and sorting.

Scott Sports - Jaguar XJ220
One of the motor cables is rubbing on the front wheel and needs re-directing


Savage GT - BMW LMP
Tape over the rear screws is curling and rubbing on the surface. Pretty minor, can either trim it off or replace the tape

Crikey, that's a lot of breakdowns, do what you can please Ade

It would be nice to see them out of intensive care for the race.

Mountain View here .. if the Ferrari is front wheel scuffing it could be the wiring lights catching otherwise no idea because it was definitely running free when it left here.

If given the ok by the Race Director, feel free to undo the two screws on the bottom of the chassis to remove the body.  I do not recall if there are washers or grommets on the interior side of the chassis so please be on the look out. Please use a modeler’s glue or Elmer’s to not fog the glass.  Tape holds the interior in place. If you are uncomfortable doing this please contact me prior to starting. Thank you

Was an easy fix, very obvious where the weight had come loose from.  It's been clipped into place with a small dot of glue each end. Will hopefully stay put now

I have some Glue 'N' Glaze canopy glue which will not fog the glass.  I'll be on the lookout for grommets or washers

No sign of wires rubbing. My initial thought is that one or both of the spherical bushings have rotated ever so slightly and are putting pressure on the axle

it seems we are all systems go for Round 5 at Viking Slot Car Club on Tuesday evening, results Wednesday morning.

Hopefully all the cars will be in full working order after some repairs by our host

Oxo Cubes Porsche 917K guide:

   

Guide post sheared off.  I had a rummage in my spares bin and found a slightly molested but otherwise functional Slot It clip in guide. It was about the same length and a gnats arsehole off the depth of the broken removed guide.

   

All fitted and functional (The original braid was reused as it slid out the old and in the new easily enough). 

   

The short wire for the front lights does come under a lot of strain under full lock, but it is what it is and will hopefully last the final rounds

Brumos, the glass was stuck back in (used a toothpick to apply a small amount or "Glue 'N' Glaze" across the top edge) and the interior was taped back into position.

   

Just as a note, the glue marks in the middle of the screen were pre-existing, either from original build or previous repair
