Cars bought by members in 2021

Best of luck then Tel!

They probably aren't too scale narrow though - we tend to forget how bloated cars have become over the years. A modern Honda Civic is much wider than a Sierra Cosworth for example. That is why nobody puts their car in the garage any more and why the driver's door gets scratched in a supermarket car park.

A very nice birthday present...

The car is huge (but perfectly to scale) and has optional aluminium rear hubs included under the box. Looking forward to giving it a spin later. Probably needs a run on the hillclimb too.

Hey I've got that Maserati also, goes wicked out of the box, even better with the few upgrades inside the box. Have one bloke in my group that is adamant that it is not to scale, it is as you said, even the 1:1 car is bloody huge.

Finally bit the bullet.  My first two cars.  Preordered the DTM Speed Memories set as well.  Too bad they don't have the Petty 43.

Been on and off looking for a pair of NASCAR's for a while, but nothing was either the right price or a livery that caught my interest.
These came up BNIB, and I haggled the seller down to £35 each inc next day delivery. Some may say I still paid over what they are worth, but I am very pleased with how they look, Tampo is crisp colours are good.
My job now is to make the Circa 2002 Chassis run like the later sidewinder cars without spending to much more money  Wrench
