This week saw us two racers' down, Jeffery and Paul with prior engagements and was missed.

Congratulations everyone on your Leaderboard and Podium wins.

Racing started a little late this week, surprising thing is we made it through all the usual classes and added two more and we still managed to end the day 20 minutes early. There are two photo's that shows what happens when you return home earlier than expected... no rest for the racer, straight into the gardening you go Charlie.

The leaderboards and podiums were taken out by all racers today, what a great mix over all the classes. This week see's Joe taking his fair share of podiums, congratulations Joe.

We started this week out a little quiet banter wise, this changed quickly once we had a few 'Lindsay's' carried out against the other racer. We had one Alzheimer's moment at the driver station (getting confused what lane you are in, even though we only have two colours and two lanes, the cars were placed in the wrong lanes... LOL).

The banter continued and increased as the afternoon progressed, by all the racers and track marshall's, all in good nature of course. 

We also saw several 'coming through' by Johnno, those shovel nose LMP's make great picking and throwing over the top action. 

The outstanding racing and racer was by Joe for this week, Joe keeps improving week after week, with his controller (with everyone helping to adjust his controller settings for the car and race).

This week saw us missing Charlie with prior engagements and was missed, Charlie provides some competition for Paul as they have been racing for quite some time. And we welcome back Joe to racing.

Racing got underway on time this week, we made it through all the usual classes and a Fuel 'Run what you haven't run today (run whatever car that you haven't run today yet) and we still managed to end the day early. 

The leaderboards and podiums were taken out by all racers today, what a great mix over all the classes. This week see's Joe taking his fair share of podiums, congratulations Joe.

We started this week out a little quiet banter wise, this changed once we had a few Lindsay manoeuvres under our belts. Also present were a few Alzheimer's moments at the driver station and on the track (getting confused what lane you are in, even though we only have two colours and two lanes, the cars were placed in the wrong lanes... hmmm...). We had three cars deslot into the opposing lane throughout the day.

The banter continued and increased as the afternoon progressed, by all the racers and track marshal's, all in good humour of course. 

We also saw several 'coming through' by Lindsay, Joe and Johnno performing a major one carrying Joe on my back for a bit further down the track, those shovel nose LMP's make great picking and throwing over the top action. 

We saw a few paused racing for a few cars to be repaired, we found several grub screws and body mounting screws in the slot that brought Johnno to a dead stop, luckily no broken guide.

Into the write-up I go for Wed 7th July, 2021 is at Bluehaven Raceway.

okay, okay, okay, I know my writeup is late, bloody late, my bad, I've been testing and tuning cars and tyres for a Scheduled meet my place, Shenanigans Raceway, I've even had the full 10 module track setup, just noting some times, checking things for COVID-19 guidelines back to the track for more testing.

So my apologies for having my priorities sorted :) okay, will keep it short this week and dive straight in to the racing results for Wednesday 7th July 2021 at Bluehaven Raceway, thanks for the T&C's, track and hospitality, makes each week different if we consider in weather changes alone that play havoc with grip for different tracks and different cars, add controller failure (Brake wire worn through).

Race Report
Racing Results Wed 11th August, 2021 sees the group return to at Bluehaven Raceway, Old Bar. An interesting afternoon of close racing across the classes and heats by all racer's today. 

The banter, distractions, laughter, self-frustrations, chaos all present, bar Jeffery who again was unable to attend today's meet and all the fun and action. Today would have to be the loudest our group got with chatting and general chit chat, even during the racing.

Jeffery has made his return and has been given the job of 'Sticker Marshal' as we all know stickers can only be reused so many times before they just won't stick, Jeffery was removing the suspect stickers, continuing on saying how the stickers must be thrown out after each race day, so Charlie gave him the job of Sticker Marshal :) 

Through out the afternoon of racing there was many deslots, even by Paul and a few by Charlie, all six racers had their fare share of deslots, there were no real car failures, 'Lindsay's Manoeuvres' and Johnno's 'Coming Through' were performed by all of us at different times. The biggest deslot was with Jeffery and Charlie, a massive head on with the LMP cars, not one bit of damage was done to either car which is a great thing. I performed a decent 'coming through' with Joe's car, flipped it on top of mine and continued driving around to the driver stations. No Turtling' was present.

Today, again saw a significant amount of cars deslot and then reslot themselves again within the same lane as well as deslotting and reslotting in opposite lanes, usually head-ons follow, thankfully all were on their games and stopping or slowing enough to avoid making the section: Chaos Report Headlines (below).

Paul's Revo Tiger Porsche was a lot quieter today. Track lap records were set by Paul and Johnno, with Paul taking four new records in one class.

As for close racing, check out Event 7 Fuel race, we had had a 12 heat session where we all changed our cars after the first six heats and continued on under the Fuel racing. The Fuel podium is a doosy, we had to stack all four cars on top of each other as four of us ended the fuel racing tied equal first. Great and close racing, we saw several different strategies in play Fuel wise, with majority of racers choosing their slower cars while Lindsay and myself went with our faster cars and got into full race mode rather than fuel conservation mode, oh well.

Charlie's cars were great as always and his racing was the same. Can't speak for others but racing with Charlie actually improves my racing some, not much, but some LOL.

I made the comment that I think my marshalling is better than my racing. I just push too hard and throw it all away... I've got to stop this type of racing if I want to improve.


Chaos Report Headlines
We had a headlight lens lodged in the slot, great find Joe. No cars were damaged this week, no broken guides etc, though it seemed some of us were lacking grip still to some degree.

The Ninco 1 car played up then stopped... Paul loaned me one of his cars to finish the race with. Along comes race 2, the Ninco Porsche Cup, very similar occurrence as to the Ninco 1 Lamborghini, my Ninco Porsche started then stopped, you kidding me, oh well some triaging when I get home. 

Johnno's Ninco Lamborghini stood up to the riggers of racing and had no motor issues present. 

I am still learning RC's 'Windows features' so more data, clearer, gap times (there are two this week) etc will start appearing if I can remember to do them... some of these extra RC windows have been used and included showing the gaps etc.

Racing Results Wed 11th August, 2021 sees the group return to at Bluehaven Raceway,

Regrettably there is no racing results this week due to COVID requirements.

I was waiting for my second jab and was told I could not attend. I'd managed to get this final jab on Tuesday but decided to not attend instead putting several hours into car setup.

I miss racing at Bluehaven Raceway, it is a nice and technical track that tests the car setup.
