The haulers will soon be unloading all the cars for this weekend's Winter Series Finale. It promises to be an action-packed couple of days, featuring all the classes we've run since November - both the NHRA and Nostalgia themes.

I'll be posting pictures of the cars a little later, together with a full entry list and line-up. However, the schedule should look something like this...

• Friday 12 March - meet the cars + Qualifying 1 + Best in Show / Best in Series
  
• Saturday 13 March - Qualifying 2 + Match Racing + Nostalgia T-Jet + Micro Scalextric Super Stock 6.0 + Micro Scalextric Street Stock
  
• Sunday 14 March - Qualifying 3 + Match Racing + AW Top Fuel + NHRA Funny Car / Pro Stock + Nostalgia Funny Car + Nostalgia Micro Scalextric 2019

There's quite a few cars there - 72 if I counted correctly - plus another NHRA 4-Gear (Alan) and a Nostalgia Funny Car (Dylan & Noah) not pictured... and maybe one or two I might have forgotten.

We have 20 cars in Micro Scalextric Street Stock; 13 in Super Stock 6.0; 11 in Nostalgia T-Jet; 10 in Nostalgia 4-Gear Funny Car; 8 in NHRA Funny Car / Pro Stock; 6 in NHRA Top Fuel; and 6 in Nostalgia Micro Scalextric 2019.

There are also goodies from the NTRA / NitroSlots crew, Santa Pod, Slots n Stuff and SlotRacer Online. Plus the usual medals and event stickers. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the goody stash this series. There's also a present for Rose, which I am sure she'll enjoy very much!

Alan with be competing in all seven classes (his 4-Gear chassis doubling-up in NHRA and Nostalgia), plus Laura has her DBR9 for Street Stock.

Andy also has seven cars (his 4-Gear doing double duty too)...

   

Bill has the biggest fleet of cars from across the Atlantic...

   

Clive's contingent look fabulous...

   

Half of the Chesterfield crew, Doug (front) and David (back)...

   

Iain has done a great job with the painted flames on his Micro Scalextric 2019 car...

   

Part 2 of Team Chesterfield - Noah and Dylan. They'll share the AFX Pontiac Funny Car, with a woodcote chassis underneath...

   

Team Burley - Sue, Jerome and Pete - includes two new cars, the Ramchargers Dodge Funny Car and Crazy Ivan in Super Stock 6.0...

   

Rebecca has seven cars - her 4-Gear chassis racing in both Funny Car classes...

   

Some south coast stragglers, Andy Phillip's Super Stock Mini, plus a car each for Jeremy and Jane in Street and Super Stock 6.0...

   

Last, but very much not least, are the remaining American cars from Jeff, Al, Hank and Dave...

   

Back soon with 'Best in Show' and 'Best in Series' - and then an attempt to get all three Micro Scalextric classes qualified today.

I'll also look at a few unlikely pairings for some match racing!
