Just purchased 2 SCP3s, also purchased the recommended rechargeable battery to fit into the handle however it does not fit . Before I start surgery on the controller with my dremel am I missing something? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

I don't have the SCP3 (yet), but have browsed the user manual. The max dimensions the manual recommends for the battery are 45 x 28 x 10mm. The Turnigy Nano-Tech Plus 750mAh 1S 70C Lipo Pack that is illustrated in the manual is 54 x 31 x 8.4mm - too big!
There is an older, almost identical Turnigy pack (Nano-Tech, but not 'Plus') that measures in at 43 x 24 x 9mm - I wonder if this is the one Slot.it used? The SCP3 was in development for a while. Here's a pic...
There don't seem many around. I found one on eBay
here. A Radio Control specialist retailer is going to be the best bet - either to source that older Turnigy Nano-Tech pack or something else that will fit.

@Woodcote kinda sucks that the recommended one is too big makes me think that they didn’t do their homework

Thanks guys I was able to find the older
(Smaller) battery online seems to be a perfect fit. Battling the next issue pairing the SCP3 ver 3.11a with type c chip ver. 3.10..

I apologize. The manual has been fixed, it was an error I made personally...

This is exactly what happened. I just looked at the picture and didn't read the fine print of the new dimension.

There's nothing worse than when a supplier changes something after you built and designed your own product to fit the way it used to be.
Maurizio. I offer my respects to you for being an honest man. Admitting a mistake also prevents speculation.
