Still nibbling away at it. Some obvious cleaning up still required.

Not sure about how much to include. As it will be cast, I suppose the headlamps should be left to the builder as they would be separate. I'm doing the small front sidelights but am not sure if I should include the back ones which would be under the rear bumpers.
   

Never made anything for moulding before so I don't know what is required.

I'm not sure what's required either, I'm afraid. But I imagine it's best to keep it reasonably simple.

I think you're right about the head lamps, the attachment bar would be too thin to work as a cast. The front sidelights are integrated into the body, so I'm glad you're doing those. I think the rear lights we're attached to the chassis rather than the body, and they're not very prominent so I'm happy to leave that to your judgement.

Well, Father Christmas arrived early here in Farlington, and he brought a wonderful present.

                       

Massively, huge, and ginormous thanks to Gordon, I think it's fabulous.  

Work on the unknown, and somewhat scary process of  taking a mould and casting a few bodies will begin in the New Year.

It was a considerable relief to see that it had arrived.

The post services of the UK and France had managed to get their knickers in such a twist that I was informed that, because they were unable to deliver it, it was being returned to me and had, in fact, already arrived!

I was not aware of this and was about to storm off to the local post office and suggest that their ancestors were not of the finest when Jason confirmed it had arrived at his mansion.

The wonders of modern, electronic record keeping combined with idiots probably.

It is in fact impossible to make something "idiot proof". Why? Because they make a better model of idiot every year to cancel whatever idiot proofing you just came up with.
