Could well be, there is a texture on the print surface. Its not an issue for me TBH, I was just curious as to if it was a setting issue or not.
I have to say, so far, I am very pleased with the printer, but I really do need to re-learn a proper cad program, I am already finding limitations to some things with Tinkercad. ATM though it'll do until I can find something I get on with and have time to learn it.
I used to work with CAD/CAM for office furniture way back, but I have forgotten it all now

Lots of options out there, including some great free ones.
I like Fusion 360, and use the hobbyist license, which is free.
I've seen some really impressive things done with TinkerCAD, but I don't like the way it works much. I think that kind of modeling works for some people while traditional CAD does not... and vice versa. :)

Fusion 360 is available free for non commercial use which limits you to 10 editable files, you can easily overcome what seems like a limitation by just keeping your current working files editable, you can switch editing on and off at will.
