Hi,

I have now only few pieces left to be able to build Nurnberg after Jason's layout?

I wonder if the power arc will be enough or if I need more power to the track? I also wonder if I should build with barriers or not?

Can anyone advise?

You will need ARC Pro and two P9300 15v 4amp power supplies to run four to six cars. Good track maintenance is important for power distribution. Two power taps might be sensible, running from a track piece next to the powerbase to 1/3 distance and 2/3 distance.

The only Nürburgring layout I have is the the full Nordschleife, which would be too big and not very practical.

But we could draw you up a design for your space, no problem.

Hi Jason,
Am looking at someone to build a custom made Nurburgring Track for us for a client event. Size can be upto 10m x 5-7m
would you be able to help .. Please let me know
Would really appreciate your help

Jason already has a perfectly-sized Nordschleife in the SlotRacer track plan section: https://slotracer.online/track-plans/sca...-5196.html

It has all the track parts listed. Will you running it as a digital or traditional analogue layout?

Pardon my ignorance ...
am a total newbie at this ...
I really don't know the difference ...
Ideally I want to create a ideally 4 track (can live with 2) that people can race cars around ...
We are building this as a project we plan to power each card with pedal bikes ... as part of a green initiative project ...
one of our sponsors is German company we want to do the Nurburgring

any advice / help is most welcome

Hi Kevin - were you inspired by this at the Goodwood Festival of Speed?

There's more details of that layout here: https://www.goodwood.com/grr/event-cover...-fos-hill/ - and if you wanted a full turn-key layout with pedal-power, it's probably a good idea to contact The Racing Room directly:  https://www.theracingroom.co.uk/design-and-build

A 10 x 7 metre 4-lane replica of the Nürburgring Nordschleifer is going to be a massive project, especially if you wanted scenery. Apart from The Racing Room, there are other UK companies with experience of building such layouts commercially. You could try Slot Track Scenics (https://www.slottrackscenics.co.uk/circuits/) and Think Scalextric (https://www.thinkscalextricevents.co.uk/...yMenu.html).

There's also a fabulous track builder in France called David Caille (https://sillage-racing.com/) - and the pinnacle of the slot car track builders is the American Slot Mods company (https://slotmods.com/) if you have an unlimited budget.

I hope that helps.

The Slotmods circuits are amazing, any idea on how much they actually do cost?

More than your Porsche, I’d imagine  Bigsmile

They start at $75,000 - although there are some cheap versions starting at just $50k...
