STOP PRESS

Those who are intending to attend on the day can now run a fifth car with the provisos that;
1. It is manufactured by either Team Slot or Avant Slot
2. It conforms to all the rally rules
There will be a small additional charge for this fifth car of two pounds. So entry fees will be;
Up to four cars and breakfast………..………….ten pounds
Five cars (one as above) and breakfast……..twelve pounds
We can accommodate those who do not want breakfast.
Can we have all entries by the first week of May as the centre needs a month or so to arrange the breakfasts.
Watch this group for further announcements.
No need to tell us in advance how many cars you intend to enter

MORE STOP PRESS
STAFFS SLOTS ABERGAVENNY SUMMER STAGES
Announcement of further sponsorship. You will be aware that our main sponsor, Staffs Slots, have provided three superb slot cars to be awarded to the fastest Team Slot (Classics and 80/90s) or Avant Slot (Modern) entries.
Red Dragon Slot Racing are now sponsoring the awards for the top three overall in each class. Many thanks to Steve and Craig Jones. They provide a bespoke 3d printing service for slot car spares.
Again many thanks to all our sponsors.
We have the capacity for a few more entries. Details of our entry fees, including breakfast, have already been published. Due to the practicalities of the centre providing a chef numbers will be needed shortly. However we can accept later entries if breakfast not required.
We have long since reached capacity for proxy entries.
We will be running eight stages, seven of the now famous Phil Barry representations of real life venues and an eighth Ninco stage. No raid or Mickey Mouse.
See you there.

A few parish notices
As you know, we will be running six Scalextric CLASSIC stages plus one Ninco and one routed track,
so some guides will have to be trimmed to run on Classic, or you can fit something like NSR rally guides
which work fine.
We are running some Ninco Pole Position timers that may not recognise coloured guides so we will provide permanant markers at these stages to allow guides to be "coloured" black.
-----------------
Please approach the centre from their car park on Merthyr Road, you can enter the centre via the door marked Infants, turn right up the staircase and follow the corridor to the main hall, or walk around to the main entrance straight into the hall.
Please do not park in Park Street it is congested with residents cars.
