 The other issue is, I could not find any motor holder for the chassis, and while the cut out looks slot.it like, it it not. I looked at GTM site and I see the truck pictured there has a designated part to hold motor, and what appears to be a gearbox, but is not supplied with the kit. Strange.  

  Tony - George does say on the website that the transporter is designed as a static kit but can be motorised using the Chasecars gearbox. The only gearbox I could find on their website is in the link below :-

 I should think any motor will struggle to move the thing with normal slot car gearing and you are going to need something with all the torque you can find.
