Thank you all.

It seems that some of our automatically generated emails, particularly email notifications, have been interpreted as spam by some busy body algorithm somewhere. What's worse, the algorithm has grassed us up to the coppers, or automatically informed our site hosting company (however you want to word it), where another automatic process locked us down good and proper.

So basically three different computer systems got in a mood with each other, and with no human involvement at all, our emails got blocked, first to one member, then to everybody with the same company, and shortly afterwards to everybody.

Ain't modern technology great? I guess we should be grateful that someone is making the effort to cut down on the endless spam, but they got the wrong guy guvnor, honestly.

Hopefully it will all be sorted out soon, and we can taste the sweet, fresh air of freedom once again.

But I'm afraid the email notifications system for subscribed threads has to go. It's done nothing wrong, it's only done what it's been asked to do,  but it's obviously seen as a trouble maker by the rozzers.

We're working on that and when we've sorted things out it should be okay to use PM subscriptions again. But what we can't do is delete your current subscriptions, as that's your own private stuff.

So please everybody delete your subscriptions.
