Tracy would be in yellow lane for this heat where she would be taking on Ollie in red, Mark in blue and Ash in white. Ollie had been joking before the race that maybe he would repeat his double step up from F1 and be able to challenge Isaac for the junior crown but no one was expecting him to put in a perfect error free run. Which he promptly did. Holding the lead from start to finish on his way to a very respectable 21 laps was impressive.
Meanwhile Ash had got away well and was shadowing Ollie nicely until a crash on lap 3 allowed Mark and Tracy to get past. Ash and Tracy had a brilliant scrap from there to the flag, the order changing several times before finally being settled in Ash’s favour. Neither of them could get close to Mark though who cruised serenely to a good 2nd place.
